ZF Adds Five New Retrofit Kits to Its WABCO OnGuardACTIVE® Collision Mitigation System (CMS) Retrofit Portfolio
The WABCO OnGuardACTIVE Collision Mitigation Retrofit Kit is a radar-based system that is designed to assist drivers in recognizing and responding to dangerous driving scenarios with moving or stationary vehicles ahead. In fact, OnGuardACTIVE can potentially reduce the severity of rear-end collisions by up to 87% and save up to 89% of related collision costs*.
By adding five new retrofit kits to our OnGuardACTIVE portfolio, we’re enabling commercial vehicle operators to install the advanced active safety technology on most Freightliner P3 Cascadia 2013-2020 model year vehicles. ProVia Wheel Speed Sensors
Universally designed to cover the majority of OE applications in North America, ProVia wheel speed sensors are contactless and use alternating voltage output to correspond to the actual wheel speed rotation—contributing to reliable performance over the lifetime of the sensor in temperatures of up to 300°F (150°C). Additional features include a coil twist designed to reduce noise generated to the ABS Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and a standard sensor length designed to reduce sensor gap errors, thereby helping to decrease overall repair costs and vehicle downtime.
