NEW WEB PAGE PROVIDES DETAILS ON WABCO TAILGUARD™ REVERSING COLLISION MITIGATION SYSTEM
Steering a tractor-trailer in reverse can be a challenging task for even the most seasoned driver. WABCO TailGUARD is a reversing collision mitigation system that can detect static and moving objects in the blind spot behind the trailer and automatically apply the trailer brakes to stop at a safe distance—turning a once difficult maneuver into easier work. Powered by WABCO RSS+, the technology is available on all trailer types and includes up to six ultrasonic sensors monitoring an approximately six-foot radius.
